1. Overview

At Instraveler, we understand that travel plans — especially spiritual journeys and yatras — may change due to personal reasons, temple schedules, or unforeseen situations.

Our goal is to make the process of modification or cancellation as smooth and transparent as possible. The following policy explains how cancellations and refunds are handled for all bookings made through Instraveler.com or at our physical office.


2. Cancellation by Customer

If you wish to cancel your booking, please inform us as soon as possible through email or WhatsApp.
Refund eligibility depends on when the cancellation request is received:

7 days or more 80% refund of total booking amount
3 to 6 days before 50% refund
Less than 48 hours No refund
No-show (not reporting on travel day) No refund

💡 Example: If your Avanti Yatra is scheduled for 10th November and you cancel on 3rd November, you’ll receive a 50% refund.

Refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days after confirmation.


3. Cancellation by Instraveler

In rare cases, if Instraveler must cancel a tour due to operational issues, weather, or unforeseen circumstances (like temple closures or strikes), we’ll do one of the following:

  • Offer you an alternate travel date or itinerary, or

  • Provide a full refund of the amount you paid (excluding non-refundable temple or third-party charges).

We always aim to notify you at the earliest and minimize inconvenience.


4. Non-Refundable Bookings

Certain services or bookings are non-refundable, including:

  • Temple Pooja, Bhog, Anushthan, or Aarti tickets (once confirmed)

  • Special permission passes or entry fees paid to temple authorities

  • Hotel bookings with “non-refundable” status

  • Transportation or driver bookings confirmed within 24 hours of travel

These services are governed by third-party rules, and refunds are not permitted once confirmed.


5. Rescheduling Policy

If your travel dates change, you can request a reschedule instead of cancellation (at least 3 days before your travel date).

Rescheduling is allowed subject to availability and may include additional costs if package rates change or new bookings are required.

We always try to adjust your trip dates whenever possible — our goal is to help you continue your Yatra without losing your booking.


6. Refund Process

Once your refund is approved, it will be issued through the original payment method (UPI, card, or bank transfer).

  • Processing time: 7–10 working days

  • You’ll receive a confirmation email or message once the refund has been initiated.

  • If you don’t see the refund reflected after 10 days, please contact your bank or payment provider.

7. Force Majeure (Uncontrollable Events)

Instraveler is not liable for cancellations or delays caused by natural calamities, floods, strikes, government restrictions, or temple closures.
In such cases, we will make every effort to reschedule or offer partial refunds based on vendor policies.


8. Changes in Itinerary

Instraveler reserves the right to modify or adjust itineraries due to local conditions, temple timings, or safety concerns.
Such changes do not qualify as cancellations if alternate services are provided of equal or higher value.
